About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Henderson, Tokyo Boys presents an authentic and vibrant Japanese dining experience that sushi lovers and food adventurers alike will cherish. This Japanese restaurant expertly blends traditional flavors with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance evokes a cozy charm reminiscent of a classic 1950s diner, yet the culinary journey it offers is nothing but cutting-edge and meticulously crafted.

Tokyo Boys’ menu is a celebration of Japan’s rich culinary heritage, highlighted by standout dishes like the delicately seasoned Miso Marinated Black Cod and the satisfyingly crispy Shrimp Tempura. Seafood fans will appreciate the impressive array of fresh offerings such as the Omakase Nigiri, each piece a masterpiece of texture and flavor that showcases the chef’s years of expert technique. The 24 Piece Premium Sashimi, featuring Uni from Hokkaido and Santa Barbara, is a decadent treat that delivers creamy sweetness and an ocean-fresh burst with every bite.

Signature rolls amplify the excitement here. The Tokyo Boys Roll, a delightful fusion of shrimp tempura, eel, avocado, and crab, marries crunchy texture with luscious, savory layers. Meanwhile, the Dragon Roll, topped with eel over a classic California roll, provides a smoky-sweet finish that’s endlessly satisfying. For those seeking comfort in a bowl, the Tokujyo Chirashi offers an artful assortment of sashimi over sushi rice, presenting an elegant balance of flavor and freshness.

The dining atmosphere at Tokyo Boys enhances the enjoyment of every dish. Patrons often remark on the personable hospitality of Chef Hiro San and his team, who pour genuine care into each creation. Whether you're savoring a warm bowl of Miso Soup or toasting with cold sake or beer, the experience feels intimate and authentic. It’s a place where the focus is firmly on the quality of the food: clean, flavorful, and joyfully unpretentious.

Guests like Lucas Daniels have made Tokyo Boys a staple of their Henderson visits, praising the exceptional sushi quality that is rare "back home" in Wisconsin. Nicholas Lascola speaks highly of the local gem status the restaurant holds, highlighting their pride in supporting a standout sushi bar that delivers consistently. BillyBob Ford’s praise for fresh ingredients and an impeccable Omakase experience, including a melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu rib-eye steak, is a testament to the meticulous standards upheld here.

While some may find a few items on the menu priced on the higher side, such as Andrew Gedman noted, the exquisite freshness and precision in flavor crafting justify the indulgence. Tokyo Boys truly shines as a destination for those who appreciate nuanced Japanese cuisine where every bite tells a story, from the crisp cucumber salad to the velvety salmon roe.

For sushi aficionados and newcomers alike, Tokyo Boys is more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of Japanese culinary artistry that leaves diners satisfied, inspired, and eager to return. Whether you’re in for a casual dinner or a special occasion tasting, this Henderson gem invites you to discover the depth and delight of authentic Japanese cuisine without leaving Nevada’s doorstep.

I have family in Henderson that I visit yearly. A few years ago when I came to town, I asked if there was a good place for sushi nearby. After some research, we decided to give Tokyo Boys a try. After my first visit there, I have made this a must-go spot every time I come visit. As I am from Wisconsin, there is no place nearby me that has sushi of this quality. The chef has years of experience and it shows. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've even been recognized coming back after only doing so once a year. I cannot possibly give this place a higher recommendation. Fresh fish, beautiful presentation, care put into every bite, and delicious options for those not into sushi. Please, do yourself a favor and go to this incredible restaurant.

Oh wow.. I’m so glad I tried this place!!! I’ve been sleeping on Tokyo boys for a few years now and I finally gave them a shot. Huge win!! As a Henderson local, I am proud to say I’ve found my favorite sushi bar across town. Big shout out to chef HIRO San and his team. Arigato gozaimasu!!! From the outside the place looks like an old school 50s diner and it probably was at some point. On the inside you are instantly greeted with a warm irasshaimase welcome. The place is clean, multiple tables, old school booths and large sushi bar seating, clean restrooms and plenty of dining room options. With NBA playoffs on, the TVs were a nice touch. At the time I was dining solo and was very comfortable. The sushi quality was amazing, breathtaking, even mouthwatering as you lust on your next bite. Spot on quality with sources such as Kagoshima and ehime. Thank you for the Bluefin and kanpachi. Had several bites of sushi, couple of rolls and finished with a delicious matcha brûlée and black sesame panna cotta. I highly recommend taking a trip over to Henderson just to check this place out and enjoy your time as the Tokyo boys cater the experience. Arigato gozaimasu!!!

The veggie roll was pretty small but tasted fine. The spicy garlic edamame was ok but I like when it’s a bit more intense. Service was good and the restaurant is nicely kept and has a cool atmosphere. Over all I thought it was very pricey for what I got.

DING DONG WE HAVE A FIVE STAR CHAMPION! Excellent dinner. Fresh, fresh fresh. The Omakase Sashimi was fantastic, Wygu steak expensive but pure perfection. Desert was spot on. Don’t go there….RUN

We came here for the Omakase since we recently met the chef himself so we decided to pay him a visit. This is truly a great Omakase experience other than higher end ones. The reason it's so different is because the main focus is on the food and nothing extra like plating. You get to focus on all types of quality nigiri and you leave here full. Each nigiri was well crafted and amazing and is worth the price.

Tried the place out for the first time. Atmosphere feels nice as an old diner setting. The staff were friendly and kept checking in on the customers. The food tasted great but the prices could be better. Price to portion was a bit high. Sushi rolls were smaller in size than the typical sushi places in the area.

2024Nov19Wed: It’s my wife’s birthday and she’s craving for some Japanese food- and this place did not disappoint!! Another good find in our Henderson neighborhood for an authentic family restaurant operated by Owner/Chef Hirofumi Miyoshi. Not an AYCE place but each ala carte order is meticulously prepared by Chef Hiro with the freshest fish and seafood of highest quality along with other elevated ingredients. Looking forward to our next visit and try chef’s Omakase offering. A definite gem that will be in our rotation !!!!

We were absolutely blown away by our visit! Our server, Charlie, went above and beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. The chef’s omakase platter was phenomenal fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. Every bite was bursting with flavor and creativity. We’ve dined at several top-rated sushi spots around Henderson as well as Las Vegas, but this one truly stands out as one of the best. The quality, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We left impressed and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend asking for Charlie and trying the omakase you won’t regret it!
